My name is Andy Crawford and I have been making UltraShades in my one man shop since 2012. I came across the fabric used in these shades during my 34 years in the film industry. I was pleasantly surprised by it’s ability to deflect light and even more so by it’s durability, even after long stretches of time in the tropic sun.  After at least a decade of working with the material on set, I made the first UltraShade for our family’s boat. Since then I’ve made both standard and custom UltraShades for hundreds of people across the globe. 

I have been sailing for nearly 60 years. I am passionate about boats and only make shades that I would be proud to have on my own boat. The UltraShade is an incredibly effective product and if you trust me with your business, I will work hard to make sure you get the best shade available.
